Ok so I had a lesson in the 18% snowy cold weather outside so this better be worth while lol. I talked to the barn owner about her "hay belly" and she is aware of that and we are going to get on something plus a lot of work come spring.

oh my. how do you go about riding in that much snow? xD
I would have been frozen, even with my hand and toe warmers.

Your horse is gorgous, and great riding (espeically for being out in the snow!)

OMGosh! I canNOT imagine riding in that snow! Here in Texas, when it snows like that (about every one hundred years), we stay INSIDE! :D

OMG Tiff! You look awesome!!! I am sooo jealous you are riding in all that snow too! I'm not a fan of the snow but I love riding in it. We were promised 3-8 inches (wide range because all the weather stations said something different) this past weekend but we got oh, 1/4 inch...ok, maybe 1/2  We got 1/2 inch today but they called for 1-2. Oh well. I know I should be careful what I ask for but I honestly would love the chance to hop on bareback and mosey through some real snow :D

Keep up the good work Tiff and don't worry about a hay belly. Beautiful needs it to keep warm  In the spring when you are getting her in shape for the summer I'm sure she'll lose it

I always click on your photos because I love Beautiful's bald face. The best horse our kids had was a paint that aint and he had a bald face.

You guys look great! That looks like the perfect amount of snow to ride in! I've never had an outdoor arena that was kept cleared for winter riding (right now it is covered in about 4-5 FEET of snow!)... do you canter out there and everything?

Hi Tiffany,

I've followed you for some time and I must say, I am impressed. These pictures are awesome! It just goes to show if you persevere you can accomplish your goal. You have improved so much since I first saw pics of you several years ago. Keep up the great work!

And btw... I am so jealous about all that gorgeous snow. Your pony looks so cool with the color contrast. And I am a sucker for a blue eye. :)

You two look great...but I have to agree, when I saw that snow - I just cringed. I HATE snow. It balls up in their hooves, it melts and refreezes as slick ice, then you flood when it melts for good.

Of course, my bitterness just reflects the fact that you are riding and I'm not!!! (it's well below zero with the wind chill)

Looking at your pictures in the snow makes me guilty that I was riding today in a tank top! I love your smiles and cute horse!

tiffany you getting better and looks a lot more relaxed than last time
your winning girly and you look ten times happier well done to you

keep at it next season when weather picks up try some local low keyed stuff
dont go in to win but go in to try, even if you lost dont get upset
as ring expereince is a good thing to learn for both of you if you win its a bonus the important thing is you tried
but trying other things is the key of learning other things as with horses and ponies there are
many spins off its a continious learning curve

well done tiff

Gosh, brings back winter riding lesson memories for me--best one being the evening no-one showed up but me, all because of a few pesky feet of the white stuff, temps approaching zero, and windy...The BO couldnt be bothered to go out an teach but said go ahead and ride (there was an indoor) since you were crazy enough to come out on a night like this....

I used to trail ride in the snow once I got horses. Lots of fun, even though chilly. Now I am a weenie living in the Deep South, debating about riding later today, sunny but 40's and 20mph wind.

I thought I was doing good to show up to ride in the indoor in winter. You look great, and the snow is beautiful, but brrrrrrrr.

What is wrong with the universe that while we here on the East Coast are freezing, you SOBs are getting a heat wave?;)

Golly, I am only an hour and a half from you. We have no snow... you have tons. YOU CAN KEEP IT! LOL!!!

You are a braver soul than me. I don't ride in the rain, snow, or sleet. I'm not the post office, I am a weenie ammy. :)
