I am having to return to the real world of employment. (Please no slams)
I am looking for long term care leases on several of my lesson horses.

Aged quarter type gelding. 14.2h (has not been carded) This one is the best of the bunch. w/t/c, jumps 2'6". no maintenance, no vices, easy going guy. Will pack anyone around anywhere as long as they know how to steer. Chestnut with a stripe. Pins well at local shows.

7 year old chestnut welsh mare cross. Medium pony about 13.1h. Easy going mare, has been used in lesson program teaching crossrails. Will flat for a child who isn't intimdated by a free movement. No fast, but can move out at the canter, or trot if student has a loose leg. She does not like goats or trails. Does not have much show mileage because she will not poop and move at the same time.

SPoken For8 year old blue roan welsh gelding. 12.2+. Lesson program pony, but a firm kick ride, and doesn't behave himself on grass. He will stop to eat, but can't wear daisy reins. w/t/c and jumps on a loose rein.

15 year old TB mare. Would do very well on a breeding lease. She puts amazing babies on the ground. Have started her back under saddle and she does very well. She has been started over fences and jumps willing with a bit of steering, but not gracefully yet. Natural headset and hunter movement. She will do well on the flat at shows. She is not consistent in her right lead yet, but changes to it with a flying change on a circle. Should be very easy to teach changes to.

Might be one or two more. They are being tried locally this week. I will keep you posted.

All are located in SC. These will only go to approved homes willing to maintain regular photo and e-mail contact.

Do you have any that would be good for a therapeutic riding center? We only need two and would prefer 14.1 to 15.2 hands.
Thanks and I am sorry for you loss. I have gone back to working in the real paying world also and only do the special needs kids and adults two days a week.

I have a small 20 acre farm with 5 horses. I have one schooling pony, and need one more just so that my daughter can have lessons with some of the the girls that come out. I only give 4 lessons a week. Could you tell me more about your hunter pony, and where in Sc are you? I live in sav. ga.
