This might be a longshot here, but I'd really like to find a happy place for these two sweeties.
They are both 6 year old unneutered males. I don't know much about their history. I 'acquired' them only a couple days ago. They are staying at a neighbors house as I am not permitted to have dogs in my apartment. My dear grandmother has offered to pay for their care for a while to see if we could find them a home. :)
The girl who had them previous to me acquired them with the best of intentions but she's having some severe financial difficulties. They are a little thin but not emaciated (I'm no expert, maybe a 3?) Ribby but they don't look like skeletons. She took them from a woman who could no longer house them. They have been outdoors, from what she guessed, the past two years.
I have no idea if they have been housetrained (I don't know what their first 4 years of life were), but they are very well mannered for "outside" dogs. They have not jumped on me, or even threatened to, when I bring them food. Just wagging tails. They bark a big bark though. I am not sure how they are with other animals...??? I might be able to take them for a walk this weekend and get them cleaned up after we visit the vet. Hopefully they won't drag me to chase the neighborhood cats. I also have not seen them around children.
I am hoping to get them at least vaccinated within the week. They will need a heart worm test also, I don't believe they have had one for some time. :(
Any interest guys?? I can get pics a little later.
PM me for more info. I would be willing to "meet" someone if there was interest in these two. We are sort of in the middle of nowhere so I will do my best to work with interested parties.
