I have already posted a couple of times but then thought I should introduce myself before I really start spouting off anonymously like a rudypoo jumping in on other people's conversations :-) I have been lurking for a couple of years and finally took the plunge to register for the COTH forums. I've been riding on and off for several years, mostly in lower level eventing since the early 90's, showing occasionally. I'm located in Area VII, and have one redheaded darling OTTB of my own. And 2 cats :-)

Thanks tbmorgan, I was hoping there might be some other DB fans here:) Ziggy Stardust is also the name of one of my cats :lol: Thanks also everybody for the welcomes!

Hi Catmchorse, I am in Western Washington, currently at Nichole Walters' barn;she's a dressage trainer in the Redmond/Carnation area. We moved there this summer, before that I boarded at Leigh Mesher's place for a few years, training with Dani Sussman until she moved back to Colorado :sadsmile:

Welcome! I had to reply because the OTTB I got a few months ago will show as Ziggy Stardust! I liked the name Ziggy for a barn name and then someone mentioned the David Bowie thing and I loved it!

I think Ziggy is a great barn name, too! I also like it because of the Ziggy cartoon character, not the most edgy comic strip, but he is a loveable little guy. Based on this thread, the name Ziggy Stardust will be a good conversation starter at shows, too! :)
