My ridiculously fancy small pony is being returned early from her year long lease due to financial reasons. A registered section B welsh, this pony will be competitive in absolutely any company, she is made with changes installed, a hack winner and one of the best movers I have ever seen, never ever stops, goes on a loose rein and is eligible green. She has a perm card at 12.1 3/4, eats air, and loves to show. She won the Washington leadline a few years back and has been ridden for the past year by several little girls from age 5 to 12. She also showed short stirrup for three years with a young rider and was champion almost every time out.
I would require that she be leased by someone dedicated to showing this pony to her potential - unfortunately I have had a lot of promises to this end with each lease and the leasee was never financially able to really attend any of the bigger shows and she really should be doing the greens at this point. This is honestly a once in a lifetime pony who could easily be one of the top smalls in the country with the right trainer and rider. She can be a bit sensitive under saddle - nothing stupid, just gets a bit quick if you grab at her. I can e-mail pictures if interested - I have not mastered the art of posting them unfortunately. I'd love to keep this pony in my barn and just pay a rider to campaign her myself this year but unfortunately I have six others! Please PM me if you have any questions or an interest. I'd like to keep her in the DC area so Maryland, Virginia and possibly Pennsylvania. References will be required. Thanks very much.
