The people who own where I board have decided to downsize there herd. It is a fight every time to get them to buy feed so I said I would try to find them new homes. They have agreed to let the horses go for free because we really need the pasture space.
The horses are all registered paints or quarter horses.
Annie: 8 year old broodmare. Has had one foal (three years ago) and was broke four years ago. She has not been ridden sense and it was only walk/trot. She's a minimal white/chestnut paint.
Missy: 10 year old. Had a foal six or so years ago (but it was a red bag). She is not broke and is a medicine hat(with some brown spots). She is also deaf. She loves foals and calves (she's out with calves now and loves hanging out with them) and would be a good babysitter.
Spider: 6 (I think, I'll have to look) year old gelding. He was fitted for halter (as a yearling and two year old) but never shown. He's been a pasture ornament sense. He is not broke. He's a chestnut QH.
Swen: 19 year old broodmare. Has had four foals and is a wonderful mother. She would make a great babysitter for foals or a friend for a lonely horse. She is a chestnut QH.
PM me if you want more info or pictures. Thanks :) All are located in KY, close to Lexington.
