My barn owner took in an older Appendix QH about a year and a half ago. We very recently traced his tattoo, he was born in 1989. He is sound and goes well with an intermediate rider w/ quiet hands. He enjoys ring work, and has gone out on the trail with a buddy, but that really isn't his thing. Ben "doesn't like" to jump (as far as I know no buck, rear or refusal - just doesn't enjoy it) but loves dressage. Would be a great 4-H or pony club project to refinish for this year. Was previously shown by a teenage rider. Looking to free lease him out preferably long term. He's got a few good years left in him and would be a great "step-up" kind of horse for a teenager... he just isn't being used here, we have projects and rescues and currently do not offer lessons (which Ben could do in the right program).
