We have a lovely athletic 7-year old Thoroughbred-type gelding who will jump anything and has competed in dressage and is more than ready to do more. This horse is energetic and would be great for a confident rider who wants to do eventing, foxhunting or show jumping. He is currently just being used as a weekend trail horse but needs a job where he does more. He was used by a Pony Clubber for a few jumping and x-c schooling lessons and did super. Loads, clips, ties. Certified Parelli Level 2 horse.
His previous owner competed him in Dressage at training level at rated shows and was schooling him at a higher level at home. For the last two years he has been our weekend recreational horse. He did great at his first Judged Pleasure Ride this fall.
Must go to a competent rider who will have him in a solid riding/training program. He is super sweet but can get fresh if he just stands around in a paddock and doesn't get out. This would be a super opportunity for someone to get a very talented horse to compete.
We are looking for an off-farm lease in the NoVA (Va, Md, WV) area.
No beginners Please.
