What a cutie he is - he walked right on my trailer yesterday and was so easy to transport - didn't even know he was back there. It was a very windy ride home too.
Lots of excitement with the other horses - he is out today with my other two - they are getting along well - the usual establishment of pecking order. I had to get them out they were stir crazy in the barn and throwing such fits I really needed to get them outside and get rid of their pent-up energy.
Now they are all just standing around enjoying the sun.
I have the week off, farrier coming tomorrow and all bets are on as to how long before I hop on him.
Here are some pics- Inky is the chestnut, Leroy is the palomino (white in winter) and the bay is We Need to Talk (Tessie) my Fingerlakes finest from last year.

Congrats!!! He looks sweet!

I just got done riding my Finger Lakes TB on the roads around the neighborhood for about an hour. At one point, he stepped on a clear soda bottle that was on the road and that I did not see. Made a lot of noise and gave me a mini heart attack... but Devil's Whip didn't even flinch or break stride!!! What a good boy he is!

Hope you have many fantastic rides with your new boy. :)

I am late to this but YAY for the Dinkster! I love the pix. Leroy (that name is extremely humorous for a horse) does look like he is "plotting."

Dinky look so peaceful and happy. Thank you so much for taking him. :) And yes, you must post when you do ride him.

I rode my Mountaineer mare yesterday - also up the road and then around a cow farm. She likes to stand and stare at the cows. She doesn't know quite what to make of them yet.
