I see that the person is against her "training" now. I left a comment they need to make it clear on their message and titles they are NOT buckinbo but are trying to stop this kind of "training".

I agree about the whip and buckinbo though! Dance girl dance!!

Folks, don't report that video. Find the actual owner of the horse's video, I think her youtube name is provenspots. That video is hosted by a person trying to out the idiot owner.

There was a whole big debacle on this girl on fhotd. She also enjoys tieing horses up, knocking them over, and sitting on them to "train" them or something. I'm not kidding.

She also had pics up of that same cremello mare hogtied on the ground.

I also flagged.

Hope the horse gets to nail her, breaks loose, runs free, and is found by a decent forever home. That's my fantasy.

edited to add: saw previous post after I flagged, but it wasn't clear.

I wish the person doing the abuse could be brought up on abuse charges. That would stick.

In my fantasy world...we could rehome all her horses, she would never be allowed to have any species of animal, or a child, and she would have to make restitution to those she abused.

Actually - what I find more abhorrent - I gather she is a teenager? Where the !%~^&!%@~ are her parents/guardians? How could this behavior in any way be tolerated?

Guess you missed the trainwreck featuring Buckinbo on the Fugly board.
The more she was flamed, the more she loved it.
She had some website advertising all these "Rare breeds" of horses for sale. The one in the vid is one of those. Truthfully, it was just a poor little fugly.
Hope karma bites her in the ass some day.

ETA: I just went to her "farm" website. You can look it up yourself, I won't post links.
But this little gem is a description of the very horse in the video. Made me laugh out loud when I reached the part about the chicken taco!!

(the bolding is mine)

"About Hermosa de los Cielos:
Hermosa de los Cielos is our 2005 Mangalarga Marchador; born out of two Brazilian Grand Champions, Ritmo A.J. and Jaina do Passo Fino.
Hermosa is one of three of the only Cremellos in the world to be registered in the U.S. Marchador registry. She is also the last Cremello to be registered with the registry.
The Marchador breed was introduced to the U.S. within the past 20 years. It is the National horse of Brazil.
The registry has decided to go with Brazilian tradition and exclude the color "Cremello"
from the registry. (Brazilian tradition believes that Cremello is Albino, although this is not true.)
Both parents carry the creme gene which means getting another Cremello is likely.
Thus, they will not rebreed them because the foal will not be worth as much.
Our greatest advantage:
Hermosa IS the last Cremello to be registered under the US. She is 1/3 to be registered. Her offspring will be registerable as well. Not only is her color an advantage but her personality and confirmation exceed the standard Marchador requirements. Hermosa IS the only baby from these two brazilian champions,
imports Ritmo AJ and Janita do Passo fino.

With the head and neck like that of an Andalusion, the special gait that the
Marchador posseses (there are two but she posess one, the Batida, a four-beat diagonal gait
which means she is exceptionally smooth), and the long flowing mane and tail everyone dreams of having, Hermosa is an outstanding Marchador.
Not only is she perfect in every physical way, but mentally she was born sane.

At two years old she lays down on cue, does the Spanish Walk, Dances, and Bows.

When she was two years old, I took her in the San Dimas PARADE!
After the second day of breaking her, I rode her five miles to a restaurant,
hitched her and spent an hour eating a chicken taco. We crossed
busy streets, a highway, went through a gas station, and a realtor's office without a flinch.
And last but not least, the long flowing mane and tail everyone dreams of having."

What a sad looking mare. Curbs are for indirect contact, not bending your horse's neck into a candy cane.

If anyone wants to go googling, the teen's name is clearly seen under the mare's at 2:28 in this video of "western" riding.

Nothing says contentment then a picture of you hugging your horse with her ears pinned back and possibly biting your elbow.

Sick people (the one who owns the horse - not the one trying to out her). I read her FUGLY thing, and I also read some of her comments to her videos (the owner, once again), and it annoys me.

Here is someone that feeds off of pissing people off. Gotta "love" the internet. I hope "Hermosa" kicks some sense into her.

But what if "Hermosa's" foals are cremello? lol

My favorite line: "Due to laws and liability, we can't say he is good for kids. But we encourage you to come pay him a visit and decide for yourself."

The saddest part of all: According to her Youtube account, she's 16.
Billing herself as a 'trainer', touting the 'horse business my mom bought me" and saying "my mom doesn't know anything about horses' and looking for boarders and horses to train.
When will that leave time for school? College?
At 16, you should be out riding, learning, bombing around with your friends sometimes, but most of all, you SHOULD have a decent handle on caretaking if you have been around horses as long as she claims to have been.
Not spewing yourself all over the internet highlighting your ignorance.
Not to mention she's so in your face out there that any Tom, Dick, or Harry could find her. Her name, address, everything is right there to find.
If I was her mom, that would scare the ever loving Holy Crap out of me.

Here is the actual quote..
"Tomorrow when my mom goes to Pomona im going to stay here instead and check out hermosas leg and if shes good to go ill work her charro and try to tape it. my mom taped the other videos but she cant take watching me make her dance anymore...lol"

Well, something along those lines. These horses she claims as exotics aren't really that exotic. She has an APHA stud with appy pictures... I am not sure how that one worked out... and all foals are appaloosa. There's a falabella that she says:

"Little who, as we call him is a perfect example of what a TRUE mini should look like."

I have a big head and little arms, so I'm a true mini?

If the kid thrives on negative attention and has no sensitivity, it's unlikely her parents care or can do anything about her. I suspect 1/2 of her idiocy is just being an obnoxious poorly-raised teenager, and the other 1/2 is storytelling to shock people (which works really well!).

Is she doing anything specifically illegal? Or is she just an awful person who has no shame? There's sadly no law against that. Heck, even God tried to fix that, and there's still plenty of awful people to go around.

I think the case was her mom didn't live with her anymore and gave her the ranch/pays the bills. She's associated with someone on youtube who claims to be her age, but his profile shows him to be much older. A while ago she had set up to have him go to her house, I don't know how all of that went, it was a while ago. I think this is some ignorant kid with a rich mom who is tired of putting up with her and just gives her everything. With that, she believes that everything she does is correct and the only way to do anything. Anyone that says anything against it is just an idiot and doesn't know what they're talking about.

I fear what my future, if ever existant, children will be like. Hopefully open to learning new things like I am.

If that is the case, one hope the "mom" does not give the kid a firearm.

As sick as this kid is, the "mom" is even worse.

(I put the word mom in quotes because the person who gave birth to this monster doesn't deserve the title of mother.)

One of these days, and I hope it's soon, a horse is going to decide to fight back. And that kid is going to be dead.

I almost think someone should go undercover, like the guy in "Dealing Dogs," with a video camera. That'd get her shut down. 16 is not too young to be prosecuted as an adult.

I don't know that anything legally can be done.

Seriously, when was the last time someone got in LEGAL trouble for bad training unless it resulted in obvious and severe physical injury to the horse?

Christine Wels is the only one I can think of.

Sadly, the only way to help those horses would be to buy them away from her, and she'll just get more. Easy enough to get in this economy. She knows how to use Craigslist.
