A beautiful black lab (male, intact) wandered on to our property a few days ago and we have been unsuccessful in finding his owners. He is as close (if not completely) purebred and his personality is incredibly special! We are unable to keep him as we have 14 dogs right now - all of them rescues and half of them actively needing homes right now.

I am very active in rescuing shelter dogs and finding them homes etc, however for the first time I really cannot take in this dog. I do not have the space and I know that he has the potential to be an amazing dog for someone who can put the time into him (one on one).

Please let me know if you can foster this dog for a local rescue who will work on finding him a forever home or if you are interested in adopting him. I can e-mail you photos - just picture the most classic black lab and that is what he is! He is approximately 2-3 year old, intact, 80-90 lb, and full of love!

Also wanted to add that I would be willing to drive him to you or meet you half way. Also, I would be willing to get him neutered/vaccinated...anyone out there interested?

Again he is a delightful dog, gets along great with our dogs, and loves people.

Bump for what I'm sure is a wonderful dog!
I've got my own 100 pounds of black lab love that was dumped at the farm (not to mention the last of the Christmas pups and momma dog along with my other two), but I wish I could help. Everyone needs a lab
