through no fault of his own, fred has returned from his current lease. I am looking to place him in a dressage, trail, hunterpace type of home. I do not wish to place him in a competitive eventing home , but he is sound to jump. He is 8 years old and 16h.

He is sound, safe and steady. working training/1st and schooling some 2nd before he left on his lease. now fat and fuzzy, but would easily come back into work!

He has competed at the novice level very successfully but if not VERY fit and on a vit e and selenium supplement program, he becomes fatigued on cross country and I don't want him to ever be in a position where he may misjudge a fence because he is tired and hurt himself or a rider. That being said, he has never had a cross country jump fault :D and has pinned at most events (was 4th at GHF 1 this past june in a field of 25 )

he is great in the woods and on the beach, super in a busy warmup, self loads on the trailer . Really just a great all around fun guy for someone looking for a nice all rounder!
He also drives.

I will require he stay within 45 minutes of ipswich mass and have all day turnout. A lease agreement will be in effect and the leasee will have to carry insurance on him.

For the first time in my life, I wish I was a yankee! :) Good luck finding him a perfect home. Should you decide you'd be willing to let him move south, I would love to be his person.

Lovely boy and, like jen-s, too bad I'm not a Yankee! Since I am a far, far cry from the 45-minute driving distance required, consider this a bump for handsome Fred.

Oh my gosh, I can't believe people aren't beating down the door for this guy! I wish I were a Yankee too! Alas, South Carolina is way more than 45 min. away! Lord, it would almost be worth moving!!! : )

Prayers for Fred finding a great home!!!!
