"Cadet" is a former police horse and very level-headed. He was a show horse but now needs a non-jumping home. He is 15.3 and huge-bodied and very sound for flatwork, although he does need to be shod in front. He is quiet enough that my non-riding sons can trail ride him after Cadet hasn't been ridden for months.

He does not like manhole covers (in the street) and pot-bellied pigs.

He will hill-top. He will go in parades dressed up in a costume. He will lead through creeks and ditches and past scary obstacles.

Please PM for more details and pic's.

What are his lameness issues? How long have you had him?

Thanks

He is completely sound for flatwork, trail riding, hilltopping. He will become sore (hocks and back) with jumping so it's best if that is not part of his regular regime. Cantering over the occasional log in the woods or little jump in the ring is not going to kill him. He will get foot-sore if left barefoot in front, but he goes fine in plain flat steel shoes.

He is on no maintenance and no meds except for MSM added to his feed. He eats very little grain and stays fat. He is located in Virginia. He is a genuinely good boy.

There are some photos in my webshots under Cadet.
