I got a pm from Lori last night that the shipper finally got there and my guys are on their way to their new home here in NY! They should be here tonight or tomorrow!

I'm so excited, I really was born yelling "I wannnnnaaaaa poonnnnnneeeeeeeeeeee!" and now my 41 year, 6 month and 3 day wait is almost over. :D

Dumplin' has a new stall with waaaay too many shavings (It's hard to adjust when you are used to big horses  ). He has to live next to some pretty noisy neighbors (my heritage breed ducks!) until we get a break in the weather this spring. Then he will be living in a brand new house that is just for horses!

Dumplin' is going to have a VERY important job here at our little farm. He is going to be the activity director for special needs kids and their families. Special needs families don't always have a lot that they can do together for activities, so they are going to be able to come here and learn to play in the dirt, plant fruits vegetables and flowers and take home what they grow. They can even raise a duck or chicken and have eggs if they want too! Dumplin' is going to get to supervise and get lots of lovin's and give therapeutic touches to little ones.

I think he'll do just great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tito is going to be a very special friend to my daughter....she has waited so long for a little dog to call her own. All the dogs that come here are huge slobbering behemoths that need uber rehab, she is so thrilled to have someone small and snugly she can love!

Thank you so much Lori!!!!!!!

****ETA**** The kids are here! The kids are here!

They boys rolled up last night just after midnight riding in STYLE! Here's Dumplin' this morning at dawn...yes we stayed up all night :D And Tito with his new favorite girl

Tito just walked in like he has always been here and the other dogs gave him a "eh?, The more the merrier" look. Dumplin' nickers hello to you every time he sees you

He already has had a special visitor. My GF's dd and her GD came over to visit and brought carrots. Dumplin's new little friend came over in a "bulls eye" costume form Toy Story

CUTE!!!!!!!!!!

Did that coat come with Dumplin'? The lady I met on Saturday morning last week to pick up stuff to take to Lori's said, "that little purple blanket for the mini - I got that for him to wear." I believe her name was "Nan."

My mom made me look at the picture of Tito and your daughter, because she thought it was wonderful. I dunno, dogs are dogs. We need a picture of someone hugging the horses!

It did! And he looks adorable in it! He came with a gorgeous summer sheet too so he is one stylin' little man. Tito has a biker coat and the cutest plaid rain coat lol! They are so wonderful!

We are getting a horrible sleet/ice storm here all day so we have been hanging around in the barn getting mini lovin's  Dumplin is all show braided and feet polished

Hoopoe sent treats and a lead rope with Dumplin's name on it...he looked SO CUTE with it!

I met both of them....they are adorable. I was there one night while Dumplin was being fed. It was an honor to be near him. He is sooo adorable. Tito is the cutest thing. He was so quiet that I never knew he was there. What a lucky pair you have. It sounds as if they are in heaven. Congratulations.

I have a SKA hony as well. His name is Dali. He is the light of my life. He is sooo smooth when we ride....as he is a paso. Thank you Lori!!!!!:D

I am so glad everyone arrived safe and sound. The shipper was a bit shocked at just how small Dumplin was LOL.'

Hydro, yes, a wonderful Cother although I am not sure of her first name, donated Dumplin his blanket. He absolutely needed one inspite of a great coat because, he would stand out in the rain even though he had a huge shelter. It was donated to Dumplin and went with him along with his new summer sheet. Again, it was meant for Dumplin and so we packed his little clothings LOL. He was so funny to dress cause I had to get on my knees. Truly.

Choco, you have more extended family. I think they will love Tito as much as you love little Missy. The only sad thing is no more play dates for the kids. Tito will be much happier though with his own person finally. Its been a long road for him. But, he has known much love at least from not only us but Honey B.

Thankyou to everyone who made this adoption possible. And to those who so generously donated to the little Dumplin.

Oh my. Dumplin' is sooooo friggin' CUTE!!! I would hug him constantly and take him for walks like a dog (neighbors are used to that...LOL)

Tito and his person look very happy. He's a cutie, too.

I think I must have missed the story on those two, but this is a great beginning in their new home.

Thanks for sharing.

And here's Missy in her new coat at the barn last night. She refused to look at the camera directly...guess the flash was too much for her wee eyeballs :D

Doesn't just say it all?!?!??!

choco...so cute! My DH said "what's he gonna look like when he's grown?" Duh silly man...he IS full grown! lol! We have never had a dog this small

The funny thing is, to most people he would be a nice medium/small dog...to us he is a chihuahua! lol!
