Why does that bother you? Willy can deal with more than one horse, you know... :-)

That's his cell, he usually calls back if you leave him a message on it. If you call the DG Bar ranch phone, he probably won't.

No, Gucci Girl, that's the phone in his apartment - his cell number is different.

Ah, I guess the three numbers I have in my cell for him are mis-labelled. I hate that! (I know someone with 4 different numbers, and I always call the wrong one!)

On that note- we just had a clinic at our barn with Willy and it was a huge success.
We worked with him for 2 days and had a variety of horses from green to FEI presented.
He is an amazing teacher, rider and has a very clear approach to training the rider and the horse.
Everyone was highly impressed, learned a lot, worked hard and came away enriched.

Highly recommended and First class professional in every way!!

And he can HANDLE a horse! Cool to watch him run and handle those stallions. When Willy takes the lead, you can see an instant exchange of information - he becomes the boss!

Quote from Sabine,

I have to second that! I have learn more from him in four lessons than a year with my previous trainer. If anyone has the chance to clinic with him DO IT! he is the best!

He's also a lot of fun !

He's one of the celebrity riders on the 2009 Dressage Riders Cruise to Mexico next October.

I can't wait.

Steffen Peters and Jeremy Steinberg are the other two.

See www.exhibitorfriendly.com

There's an ad on that website

The cruise is after the CDS championships, so it works out great for everyone.

What do you mean?

Alot of people at his level are very busy with a lot of horses. I don't think someone of his caliber would be busy with just one horse, but a top flight horse does require some effort and time. Some people at that level can be hard to get to return calls, especially from people they don't know. I also think that when there is a limited number of hours in the day, the most urgent calls get made first (sick horses, etc).

There were 2 actually - one organized by the CDS Pomona Chapter - the other by the San Juan Capo chapter- within a week of each other.

It's official now - Idocus will be standing at DG Bar Ranch (he's there already). Devon Heir is the other stallion.....

Great line-up!
