View Full Version : This has to be one of the worst registered names I've come across....

I suppose you could look at it in the less dirty way, but still....

I thought I had it bad with Boo Dun Boo Boo, but I think I'd be more proactive about changing this one's than mine

WHOOOOAAA!!! :eek::eek::eek:
You must not move in the "right" circles, County... I'm not even going to suggest Googling it, which could actually get you in trouble w/ the Feds since I'm pretty sure there are minors in your house.
Proof positive, if any further is needed at this point, as to why that USEF rule change proposal about mandatory showing under registered names needs to fail!!

County, they aren't talking about his barn name Turbo, his name is in the title of the ad. Dear Lord what were they thinking???

... They could have had drinking beer in mind... maybe? you know an open beer in both hands?
Otherwise, oh Goodness.

What I want to know is how naive was the person at the registry who let that one slip through!:eek::eek:

'Double fisting' is a slang term for having multiple drinks. i.e., a drink in each hand.
I would venture that the sexual slang is an, er, secondary meaning.
Regardless, it's a pretty crummy name.

It does rank up there with the worst I've heard!
Friends bought a OTTB mare for their 14 year old daughter with the registered name of "Agonyandtheesctasy" last year. We had to explain to some of the girls at the farm why this was not a good show name . . .

I will never complain about my boy's "Pines Lee Luck" again. Ever.
What in the heck were they thinking?!?!?
The other bad one I remember was from a sales ad for a cute palomino named "Hitter Again."

I knew what the reg name was I just don't see the big deal? Maybe my mind just doesn't think that way.

Neither does mine because I too thought it referred to alcohol.
But I'll heed the advice about not googling the term, and remain happily ignorant.

My favorite lewd horse name, cremello quarter horse "Cream Yer Genes."
Such a good pun... but dirty... but such a good pun... but dirty... but SUCH a good pun...
At least that one's FUNNY!

Well, I can tell which *crowd* is responding here because unfortunately, courtesy of my fiancee's cousin, I know what that term means, plus red hanky (and all the other hanky terms). Altho, to be semantic, with it being past tense, it's probably a reference to the drinking allusion as opposed to if it were present tense ... (okay, TMI)

What County said. I'd never heard of the phrase 'til now. When I Googled it one of the hits had NOTHING to do with drinking!

Yeah. Thomas Gray didn't get famous for nothing.
I was gonna add his line about ignorance but thought maybe someone would want to Google it while we're all out Googling phrases -- or NOT! ;)

Blech, just blech!!! :dead:
You know, I should have remained blissfully ignorant of what that phrase means besides drinking. But noooooo, I had to go ahead and google it.
Curiosity didn't kill this kitty, but it certainly made her nauseous!
Plus, I can't imagine the um, internal physical properties you'd need to have in order to accomodate such a thing. "Flapping in the breeze" now means something more to me than laundry on the line.....

I don't know exactly what it means in the non-drinking sense, but I have an idea. Basically, I know just enough to know that I don't want to know any more...if that makes sense! I too, shall remain blissfully ignorant for as long as possible.

I never had children Go, so my stuff is all still pretty close to newly factory installed.
Even if I'd had kids, I still don't think I'd want to do that. But then, I'm sure there are things I like to do that others might find weird. Like ride horses! ;)

Oh, sure sure, I haven't either and never will. But regardless, it's all stretchy tissues and muscles in there and even the small entry in urbandictionary that I just checked said that there's essentially no way to damage yourself. Now...a couple fists up the bum is WHOLE different matter....

Hmmmm, that registered name is ummmm, interesting... But I never heard of the drinking aspect referred that way - I've always heard "two fisted drinker" - maybe it's a geographic thang?

One of my horse's registered names is "Adhesives Alberti" - where in the world did they come up with that one? He is not even a TB, a WB. Needless to say, I changed it - he shows under something else.

I learned the hard way not to google my horse's great-grandsire, an appendix QH named "Eternal Sun." Turns out that Eternal Sun is also the name of a clothing optional resort for gay men:eek:
I also knew of a QH with the registered name "Magic in My Zipper." Ewww, just ewwww.
