I have a *HUGE* about 17 hand off track thoroughbred that needs a home.
He has a slight xyz injury, and should be fine after resting up for the winter. He is needing another 2 weeks of stall rest, then limited turnout for a while longer.
He has not been gelded yet. I can have him gelded, or you can. If I do it, I will have to charge a small re-homing fee.
He is a very good boy, has no idea he's as big as he is, or that he has his equipment.
Racing days are over, but he would be a beautiful dressage horse. He's a dark bay with beautiful clean lines.
All I ask is that the new owner sign a contract that he is to come back to me if no longer wanted.
I have him boarded off Interstate 71 just east of Louisville.
Please ask any questions you would like. The big beautiful boy wants a forever home.

What is an xyz injury? Do you have pictures?

An xyz injury are the ligaments that connect the hoof wall with the coffin bone. It is a mild case that this colt has, according to the vet, and he can recover from it with the proper care and rest.
Mostly having the winter off will help.

Another place to try and post would be the new thehorse.com website. They are taking listings for free TB's - free of charge to place a listing.

They have already placed 12 since starting this 2 weeks ago.

Just a friendly reminder to check out the adopters.......

I posted this big guy on TheHorse.com. Hopefully someone will come through on this guy to give him a job and a home.

I don't have photos of this guy yet. I can have some this weekend, but I am in the middle of moving and will not have a chance til then.
I can say he's a very dark bay with a white star.
