Freckles- 15 yr old TB mare. Lovely to handle and have around. Possibly has DSLD, a disorder that affects suspensory ligaments. She would require monitoring to ensure lameness issues to not develop. At this point she is not lame and enjoys running in the pasture. Due to this condition it is recommended she not carry a rider.$100
Rosalie, 10 yr old QH mare. Beautiful chestnut color. Fat and sassy personality. Rosie, as she is called, has an old injury to her shoulder. She has some muscle atrophy and if she over-exerts herself she limps. This condition does not affect her willingness to romp and play in the pasture so she is best suited for a home with quiet, well-mannered pasture-mates. This way she would be encouraged to take it easy. No fee
Irish,25 yr old paint mare. This lovely old gal is reported to have carried many children to blue ribbons in hunter classes. Her advanced age limits the amount of riding she could do but she would be suitable for leadline or short walks around the farm. Irish is missing teeth and her remaining teeth are very worn. She requires senior feed/beet pulp and can not eat hay. Irish loves people and is waiting patiently for her retirement home. $100
Julia,16 yr old Appaloosa / Draft cross. This horse has the most unique coloring. She is white with palomino-colored spots. Her spots vary in size and number depending on the time of year. She was a part of a long awaited court case and therefore she has not received training in USERL custody. She was a broodmare for many foals. She needs time to bond with new handlers, as she is not trusting by nature. She can be dominant at times in the pasture. She is short and stocky and would look beautiful with a meadow-brook cart behind her.$300
Ponyta, Ponygirl, is a 4 yr old QH/Walking Horse cross. Approximately 15.1 hands with a long flowing trot stride. She is soon to be completing her rehabilitation. At that time she will ready to enter a training program. She came to USERL scared and skinny with little handling. She now leads without pulling, flysprays, enjoys grooming, and is working on farrier issues. This horse can be marish at times but mostly just makes ugly faces at feeding time. She would benefit with training that included natural horsemanship techniques.$300
Truman, 7 yr old, minimal white paint. 15 h Sorrel, 4 white stockings, belly spot, and a blaze. WHAT a looker! Truman has some issues with abscesses in his hooves due to lack of proper farrier care. These are resolving and he will probably need at least front shoes until his feet improve. He is currently pasture sound and gets along well with other horses. He has that stocky QH build and would probably excel in Western Pleasure or Trail events. His level of training experienced is undetermined. He has been saddled and bridled with no problems. $400
Roosevelt, Teddy, is a 10 yr old Sorrel/white paint 15 h. Teddy was stallion until this summer but is turning into such a love bug! He was aggressive toward people and other horses upon arrival but shows none of those traits anymore. He is beautiful and willing. He has been saddled, bridled and ridden some. This horse is a real gem. $500
Martin,Marty, coming 3 yr old arab /quarter cross. At present still a stallion but will be gelded prior to adoption. Approximately 14.1 h and growing. Will be grey but currently is a gorgeous strawberry color. Absolutely loves people. Not a mean bone in his body. Has been tacked and worked some in round pen. May not be started undersaddle until Jan. ’09.$400
Abracadabra, Abby, is a 23 yr old Appaloosa mare. Approximately 16 hands. Abby was used a lesson horse and is suitable for most any person who has ridden before. She has moon-blindness, so she has trouble seeing at night but during the day she does not have any issues. $300
Timnah,Timi, is a 7 yr old TB cross. She is a very sensitive horse who requires an experienced rider at this time. She gets nervous in new situations and needs a calm confident approach to give her security. With a patience handler she bonds completely and gives 100% every time she is asked. She is being ridden on the flat currently and has not been evaluated for jumping potential. $500
Rhapidash,10 yr old TB gelding. 16.2 hands. Classic TB looks. Never raced. Formerly ridden over fences but is still completing rehab so his level of training or rider experience is not yet determined.$500
Kojak,8 yr old, TB/QH cross. Has some trail experience. Very sweet personality and easy-going nature.15.2h Currently in Rehab. But we will take applications on him. Recently gelded. Right front club foot that will require farrier work over the next few months. Would make excellent cart horse.$300

Cowgirl or Callie - chestnut and white paint mare. Prior trail horse that came to us very underweight - Just completed rehab and will be started in work to determine level of training
Hooper - pony gelding. Trained to lead. Needs experienced handler.
Honey Bun 14 hand Tenn/Qt cross 4 year old mare with the sweetest personality and comes running to you when you go out to catch her.
She has 30 days professional training with extensive ground work and riding time. They have even taken her on trail rides. She is not a pony for children without an adult trainer to help continue her progress.
Snickers is a handsome colt that came to USERL a shy unhandled little boy with his Mom when they were found starving in a swampy area. After work and time he has shown what a character he is and won the hearts over of many people. He is in training for ground manners and as of right now is too young to be ridden.
