There is a Walter Zettl clinic at Michigan State University this weekend and the early bird auditor charge for 2 days is $60.

Scott Hassler is at my place about once a month; I charge $30/day with a potluck dish for lunch, or $35 without. Same fees when I have Pam Goodrich.
Lendon Gray is coming to my place in December through CDCTA, one of our local GMOs - they're charging $30/day as well.

Hmmmm. Beats the dickens out of $349 for the Kyra two day symposium doesn't it?

$20/day includes really wonderful meals and lunch lecture with my teacher. But these are In-House clinics only (for boarders/training clients/regulars... and me ;) ). I suspect it's a bit more for his outside clinics.

Typically the symposiums are set up with demo riders, so they are actually more focused on the auditors learning. Alot of times the auditors are very involved (questions, etc) throughout the day and there will even be an evening unmounted time for talk. I was recently going to audit the Lisa Wilcox clinic (at $50.00 a day plus hotel) that was set up for auditors. Not sure I would go $349, but I would expect to pay more for that type of setting.

Between $25 - $50 per day for BNT's. The difference seems to be related to how fancy the lunch is and how much of a sound system there is for the auditors to be able to hear.

I paid $25 for one day last weekend with Pam Goodrich, I think lunch was included but I couldn't stay. It was a little less if you paid ahead of time instead of at the door.

I recently went to a H/J clinic - there was an interesting auditor charge. First is was $30 per day or $50 for both days; when I asked if I could pay when I got there I was told there was it was $10 extra for walk-ins ( I asked about both days) So I asked if the $10 was $5.00 for each day or $10 for each day? the reply I got was $35 per day. Apparently they were also going to charge PARENTS an auditor fee if they brought their kids - now that seems a little extreme...

I'm charging $20/day, $35/both days for two upcoming clinics with Spanish Riding School Bereiter Herbert Seiberl. Walk-ins are $25/day.
Free hot chocolate and coffee included; I will probably have snacks available for a low fee to cover costs (provided them for free before but it costs too much $$$). No lunch available, but there will be a reception right after the clinic is over w/ food and beverages for $10/person so that they can meet and talk with Bereiter Seiberl and others at the clinic, and also get some good food. :)
Juniors get 10% off of all prices.
Equus_girl - was that the cost to ride... not auditing cost?

Speedy Alice, it was the cost of auditing, not riding :) It was called a symposium and basically he had riders of different levels from different disciplines, horses of different ages and was teaching lessons in front of us. Auditors' questions were also answered.

Oh. OUCH.
I know symposiums are more geared towards auditors, with lecturing to the auditors and demonstrating movements, etc. more than giving the rider a lesson, but honestly... comparing $150 vs $20 (or $15, for people who come in groups of 3 or more) for one day's auditing... it's hard to imagine that auditors at that symposium would get that much more value than the auditors at a clinic with Herbert would get. He answers auditors' questions, is communicating with the rider just about every step of the lesson so that the auditor knows exactly what's going on, etc.
Granted, lunch isn't included. :)
Just curious, were there written materials/DVDs of the rides, etc? And were there many auditors there?
