I have a 18 yr. old TBX geld. 16.2h that could use a new home. I don't have the time for him with two small children. There is no reason why he can't be ridden and he was quite wonderful when I was consistently riding him. His previous owner did 3ft hunters and trail rode him. She sold him to me before she went off to college. I've had him for about three years and he has been a lawn ornament for quite sometime now. He needs a job! To good home only, NO HORSE TRAITORS/AUCTIONS.
I might be intrested in a trade for a DEAD quiet horse (since I am out of riding shape). One that does not need to be ridden everyday. Chester is a horse that needs more of a routine and I just can't do that at the moment.
PM me if you are intrested. I can e-mail pics.
Thanks. (In VA)

Not being mean...just being curious, but if you're finding a home for your 18 year old TBX because you don't have time for him with two small children, why are you looking to trade him for another horse?

I think Chester being TBx and not been rode in a good while he would be a bit of a hand full , I feel Flexfree would like a horse they could just pull out of the field and hop on every now and then. Flexfree said "might" trade for a dead broke horse , the trade is not a deal breaker Flexfree wants a horse just not Chester .

Just curious as the gelding came from the same type of situation, "not enough time for him."
