I leased this mare from a fellow COTHer to ride while my gelding healed w/o realizing that I was facing multiple surgeries. She is a very nice horse.
Height: 16H, but growing. Probably almost 16.1H
Color: Liver chestnut with half stripe
Weight: 1100 (guessing)
Location: Williamston, NC
She has a solid w/t/c. Great work ethic. Green over fences. No refusal. Taken over 2'. Could easily show Intro dressage this year or hunter under saddle. She looks to her handler for confidence and enjoys attention. Never seen her spook. No vices. Easy going. Can turn out with either geldings or mares. Fairly easy keeper. Current on all health care. Currently barefoot but will be putting on front shoes. Clips, blankets, bathes, ties.
This mare is talented enough to be finished in whatever direction you desire. She does have a love for jumping. Not really forward but does have plenty of go. Would make a very nice teen or amateur horse.
She has, as far as I remember, only changed homes once and that was when she came to me. It took her a couple days to settle. Has no show experience.
Respects electric fences.
Lower on pecking order and prefers quiet herd.
She does need trailer loading training. Only time she really was on a trailer was for the extended trip to NC from NH.
Pictures available.
References required. Her owner will be involved in approving any new homes.
