A Bleeding Heart

Hey all,
I'm posting this for my goodhearted friend - I promised I would try! He found a stray female pitbull mix wandering around in York, PA and he decided to call her Kickball. She's skinny and rough-looking, but also is very friendly towards people and other dogs. Unfortunately, his complex has a breed restriction and he can't keep her (like he so badly does). So we're in a mad dash to find her a home before he gets caught.
I know this breed is very hard to place, but the fact that she gets along with other dogs should make it a bit easier. Maybe?
Also, as an added incentive, because we don't know what she needs in way of vet fees, he and I are willing to pay for them if we can place her somewhere. Because neither of us can keep her, but we want to help in any way we can.
Any takers? I have pictures and I can give you more details as to her mannerisms via PM. We're scouting out local non-kill shelters as well, but no surprise, they're full.
Please...any help would be much appreciated. His heart is slowly breaking thinking about what her fate could end up being because she is so darn nice (and clearly very forgiving).
