Hi, I donated Derby to a rescue only to find out that they placed him in an innappropriate home. He ended up with a friend of mine who is not expereinced enough to ride this horse nor does she want a companion horse. The rescue told her he was sound and quiet to ride. When I found out my friend had my horse and he had been misrepresented I decided to find him a home myself. If you are able to give a companion home please help Derby . He is only sound for light riding due to numerous chips in his knee and an old bowed tendon. He needs to be retrained from racing, for this reason he would be a great companion and maybe light riding for an experienced rider. He is VERY sweet and has no bad stall habits. He is a real gentleman on the ground and is all racehorse under tack. This horse raced 31 times and won 10 races, a very impressive record.
