looking for a horse: northern va

Hi
I am looking for a giveaway horse. I'm trying to get back into riding shape after having a baby. He/She must be very quiet and sound. They will have a wonderful home andl lots of TLC. (I have two retired mares that will always be a part of the family). I am not trying to make a quick buck, I would love for the horse to be quiet enough for my kids (when they get older). If anyone knows of a horse please let me know.

Are you looking for an event horse? Assuming you are only because you posted on this forum. Did you check the Giveaways in the Market Place Forum? If you don't have the $$$'s to buy one, but are planning on keeping it at a boarding barn, you might also consider a lease or a partial lease.

You could call Piedmont tb rescue, Travellors rest retirement or you local vets. These may not have an appropriate horse, but they may know of one. Good luck.
