Angel (http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=10583566) went on her first 'go-see' since coming to live with me. :D

But sadly, the older lady discovered her older friends wouldn't visit knowning Angel was in the house. :( So, through no fault of her own, she's coming home tonight.

But what Angel really needs is a home to call her own. One with either 1 or 2 adults, maybe even another dog for Angel to pal around with and snuggle with. She is very disinterested in the feral cats that frequent our home and yard. And wasn't remotely interested in the Deer standing in our backyard.

You see, Angel was supposed to be a temporary foster for us, and we are coming up on a year. She is in NO Danger, but my 13yr old Pit has begun to pee and poo out of spite because Angel is still living with us. And the fact my older girl is anexed to the back half of the house isn't suiting her well either. While Angel would never bother Kacie, neither will Angel back down from an attack by Kacie. (sadly, DH let Kacie in to test the waters and we found out the hard way that Kacie was tired of my Volunteer effort).

We've worked very hard at socializing her with young children and older children and even adults. While she's still standoffish of men, and it takes her a while to warm to women, she does welcome the comfort children bring.

She walks well on a leash, does not pull and very rarely barks. She does however, bark when it's dinner time and she'e settled in and relaxed around you. She also dances at dinner time. It's really cute to see her happy and smiling and waggin' that tail in anticipation of her meal. :)

She Does Not, however, ride well in a car. She gets really nervous and begins to drool and then vomit. And that is something we've worked on very hard to no avail. However, inside a crate in the car, she seems somewhat comfortable.

Please, if you can even foster Angel, we'd gladly support your effort. But even more so, we'd love to find Angel her forever home.

Thank you, she's a dream, I only wish my old girl would get along with her. I'd go from Foster mom to forever mom. *shrugs*

Bump for Angel ...

She really is a dear girl and would probably make a great Farm gal.

She shows NO Interest in the deer or cattle on our current property. I would be more than happy to test her out on horses. She could care less about the cats around the house too, so your barn cats would be safe.
