I’m so excited we finally got to move them today, and so are they. They are all sooooo much happier and just love it. Now I can really spend a lot of time with them. Digger can’t get enough of Dreamcatcher, follows him around like a shadow, and Daizey loves standing in her stall just watching them and eating. I can’t believe how much of a difference having them here had made. I’ve been in a rough patch lately and looking out at them, it all just melts away. It really does. We still have a lot of work to do, but at least they’re home :)

daisyfields: congrats!!! They DO look blissful! Hey, do you have further pix / info on the set up you put up/built? I'm looking at all options of small shedrow/run in/pole barn/prefab, etc, etc...what I saw from the 'background' of yours looked interesting!
Again, enjoy them being at home.

(and nickers@dawn...I LOFF your membername.)

I moved mine home in mid-2005.

at first I thought "just try not to kill them".

now I have a ton of confidence and could not imagine letting someone else take care of them.

WooHoo!!!!
Enjoy

No matter what kind of rotten day you've had at work (I'm assuming you have to work off the farm) coming home to see your horses makes it all go away.

Congratulations and Enjoy. The first few weeks we had Cloudy and Jake home I was a nervous wreck, constantly wanting to check on them during the night. After a while it does settle. However it is still a Joy to know they were only a few steps away.
You will have Fun and love it.

Isnt it just the best feeling!! I brought my guys home 2 years ago and have a similar barn to yours. I was nervous at first but now I cant imagine it any other way. They are the first thing I see out my kitchen window every morning and I am still just as eager and excited to see them every morning as I was the first few days they were home. Good luck with your guys and enjoy. Your ponies are adorable.

Looking for a way into the stalls. She actually climbed over Dreamcatcher's stall guard. I heard some fumbling, turned around, and saw a foot going over it. We ended up having to shut his stall door.

Congratulations! I brought my horses home in 2001 and I cannot imagine not having them around all the time. It is a lot of work, but I love it.
