Hey, those were my high school's colors! If the homecoming parade was a horse-friendly thing, this would be just the ticket.

Wouldn't it go with those Nike "updated equestrian boots"? They were red and black, weren't they...? :dead:

ummm...there's someone in our area who events in a saddle that looks JUST LIKE THAT (maybe it is that saddle!). This person has taken color coordination to a new height! I know Devacouxs can come in some pretty outrageous colors (Phillip Dutton's blue and yellow??), but at least Devacouxs are quality saddles!

I think you should complete the look with these breeches: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_NTZqte0RXVQ/SOKbfG6ESYI/AAAAAAAAACE/cL0nVV9rNy4/s1600-h/red+stripe.jpg
(There was a thread on the Dressage Forum about Funky Breeches...so if these really don't suit your fancy, I am sure you could come up with another breech rather....well....hhmmmmm,....interesting.:lo l::D

it looks like a vinyl booth in a 50's diner. It would be kinda cool if you wanted your life to be a Happy Days rerun.
The RR chicken saddle is kinda cool in an extreme way I think. More art than anything.

My big question is other than in a parade, WHY would someone use that? I have to admit, it is artistic in an odd sort of way...

I've seen that saddle! I think I saw it on a site for specialized fit saddles, for Arabians or adjustable padding/tree/flock saddle.
