In May we rescued this emaciated, 3 yr old registered ASB mare from the Shepherdsville auction. She came complete with bastard strangles which developed into the purpura hemorigica (SP?) and a month long battle to save her. Finally, she turned the corner and has actually become a little piglet! Very easy keeper!
Amelia is about 15.2 but slightly low backed. She is all neck and very strong hind end. Would make an awesome driving horse or equitation horse. Lunges, lines (to voice commands) and is green broke. Needs some finishing work and canter work (is starting to get it from the walk) but otherwise is a super nice youngster. Wears a double nicely and quietly.

Unfortunately, I have another horse that I have raised since a baby and he has medical issues which require my time and money. With hay coming this week and board due I have to let Amelia go. She is a fantastic horse, great personality and easy to work with. Current on shots, teeth, feet-will just need a Coggins to go outside of KY and we have a vet on staff (farm owner's daughter!!)

Please, she must go asap. I have tried to place her for a few weeks on my own and no one seems to want a free, healthy, registered horse.

Yes, thankfully Amelia has a home. I do need to ask that the farm name where I work be removed though as she does not belong to them and they are being inundated with calls.
