So, most of you guys have known Frodo since he was but a wee one. I have not posted pics in a while and thought I'd give you all an update. I might even have some riding ones in the near future but since I am the one riding and I rarely have someone with me, I do not have a photographer.
These are just pics of him playing with a friend, nothing serious. I also added some pics of the views from my barn. He's schooling first level and I am not in any hurry to rush him up the levels, I just want him happy, we'll get there eventually. I love him more than ever.

Just goofing around but his expression makes me wanna smooch him (http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i309/bugsnfrodo/goofyboy.jpg)

Something about the 'goofing around' pic really reminds me of my old Trak gal. maybe it's the ears. :p
I started coming here regularly when he was a yearling or so, if I remember right... he's grown into a lovely young man.
Good on ya for not pushing him. Traks are soooo late to mature, mentally and physically. I truly believe for every year we give them at this end we gain four or five at the other.
WHERE on the planet is that view? How amazing!!! My mountain is very, very different.

Erin, HUGE change, in many ways. The view is nice though, even if the job market is especially crappy.
Pinto, it is his ears in that photo that make me wanna smooch him, he is very expressive with his ears all of the time. They are a dead give away to what kind of mood he is in or what he is thinking ALL of the time. That view is from Palm Springs/Coachella Valley. That barn has the best views I have every seen.
3 Dogs, I will be going to Thermal throughout the show too, let me know when you'll be there, maybe we can meet. It only takes me a half hour to get there and I have a few trips planned but no certain day chosen.

He's gorgeous! And I love those Trak ears, too. My boy is just one year older than Frodo and they share some bloodlines -- Ibikus and Impuls. I'm glad to hear someone else say that Traks mature late -- I was beginning to think it was just mine that were goofballs. We kept him in Novice this year, his second year of eventing -- definitely taking it slowly with him and it is paying off.
And the views -- WOW!

He looks wonderful. Hard to believe he is all grown up already. The view is absolutely incredible. I think I'd just watch the light change on those hills all day and get nothing done if I lived out there.

Awww... I can remember when him, Remi, Chevy, and the other '03 models were just foals!
Here's the latest Remi pic- http://www.leakycreek.com/modules.php?set_albumName=October-2008&id=Remi_Nathaniel_Mary_10_06_08_7340&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php
I look like a DORK in this one, but it looks like Remi's trying to hug Nathaniel- http://www.leakycreek.com/modules.php?set_albumName=October-2008&id=Remi_Nathaniel_Mary_10_06_08_7338&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php
Remi loves his kid!
