I wish I was closer or I would definitely do it. Will you take pictures and post them so we can see. I personally am interested in the collateral ligaments and the impar ligaments. I want to see where they connect in the hoof. I know coffin bone and P2 (?) and the navicular bone, but I need a visual.

You would be disapointed. Ligaments connect bone to bone or cartiledge or . . . There are no ligaments connected to the hoof. ;)

my mare is recovering from some pretty serious tears of the suspensory branch and sesmoidean ligament branch. i've been watching all this stuff on ultrasounds for the past 6 months, now i'll get to see what it really looks like:)

not sesmoidean branch. it's a medial suspensory branch tear and a sesmoidean ligament tear.
