On their purchase of the stallion Faberge. How about some pics and information on the boy?

I "think" Edgar may have picked up the other stallion being auctioned off, but I'm not sure. Edgar? Do you have news to add too? <smile>.

YAY!!Congratulations Jill!
I use to work with Faberge when he was in training/showing with Chris Pratt years ago. Faberge was always my favorite boy to work with and such a gentleman....I just love him!

Huge congrats to Jill. The auctioneer made me want to stick a fork in my eye  but it made the day worth it when Jill got him. :D He's a total gem in person and I'm already planning which of my mares to breed to him in 2009 :)

Kathy, it sounds like a riddle...
No it was not me but I will ad to the mystery. If Sam Steele went to the same farm who just bought Regazzoni I know who that is. She also bought Adonis earlier in the year....???

Ahhh, the plot thickens <lol>. And here I thought it was almost certainly you! I didn't realize she'd also purchased Adonis, but I don't get out much these days <rolling eyes>. Well, perhaps whomever purchased the boy will step up to the plate and let us know.

You may want to know that the stallion contract is upside down.

She knows. :-)

Actually, I did just fix it for her--she sent them to me that way but I was just able to figure out how to fix them.

I think Sam Steele was bought local(like staying in Canada). I don't know their names but it was a couple that bought a few other nice horses as well.
That auction has me feeling hung over today. Most went very very cheap.
I really wanted to buy the Rotspon 3 yr old mare(Ruby elite eligible) and the 7 yr old BrentanoII(EM Bianca) mare but had made an agreement(with husband) that we'd sell two before we bought. What those mares went for was insane. Together they went for what you expect to pay for an average mare. We expected much higher prices on them and were like deer in the headlights while they were being auctioned. It was over before we realized what happened.
We drove home feeling/knowing we made a big mistake not buying them.

The people that did buy got some great deals. Those opportunities don't come around very often.

<lol>...I'm not that in touch with the pulse of who's buying who. I had heard that Ester Noiles had purchased Regazzoni, but only through the rumor mill and well ALL know how accurate that can be <rolling eyes>. So, was waiting for some sort of confirmation of that. Thanks Edgar!
