It seems to me that there are a lot of sons of Sandro Hit standing in NA at this time, and even grandsons. Any idea of the number and names???
I know of Soprano and Sinatra Song but what others??

if you go to the registries fx www.hanoverian.org and the other major, you can see them all. There got to be at least 15!

Sonntagskind (Sandro Hit x Donnerhall x Rubinstein) stands at Royal Equus and is approved BWP and RPSI (maybe some other registries too?).

He has a great dam line with Landadel/ Landgraf breeding. Very nice, young stallion. We bred our mare to him this year, and I'm really excited to see the baby!

Now that we have a good handle on the Sandro Hit sons available by cooled fresh semen in NA what about those that are available by frozen semen. I know JY had the grand old man himself and also a couple of sons Sir Donnerhall and Sunny Boy and a new son will be availabe too. What other sons are available by frozen semen???? What happended to Stedinger??

I've been following Saint Sandro by Stedinger who will be doing test breeding in 2009. He's at Golden Venture Farm in Maryland.

I don't know much about breeding, but I know that Hit Parade was mentioned, and he's about 30 min from me at the barn I'll soon be boarding at. Nice stallion, and his babies have really great temperments. Good luck.

Sonntagskind is RPSI and BWP approved, he is now 4 and has produced only premium foals. The Sandro Hit/Donnerhall/Rubinstein is a great combo. I know this has to be why Sandro Hit is so successfull as a breedng stallion, He passes on Great Stallion who can contribute to sport horse breding.

We are super happy that our new stallion Schroeder (Sandro Hit x Escudo I) had a successful year. He finished #4 USDF HOY 4 year old Materiale. He is already approved Hanoverian, but we took him to many inspections this year too along with the shows and was approved GOV, ISR, BWP, RPSI and his first foal Dorette also finished #4 2008 USDF HOY fillies and the other one was first premium at the KWPN-NA keurings.
We are having a blast showing him and his foals. Got to love the Sandro Hit blood. Colleen O'Connor-Dzik rides him and he is a dream in gaits and trainability.

I think there are more approved sons of Sandro Hit here in N.A. than approved sons of Rubinstein, and definitely more than Donnerhall.
Here are the NA based SH sons approved by Oldenburg (GOV):
Sagnol
Sandomere
Sandro's Heir
San Rubin
Schroeder
Shakespeare RSF
Sinatra Song
Soprano
Starlight
Sure Hit
As already posted, there are also several others approved by other registries (Ser Gioveto, Sovereign Hit, Selten, Sandro's Hymn, and Sonntagskind). I believe there was another one just purchased in Germany that is going to California, but I can't remember his name.

I think the one you are thinking of is San Francisco? Sandro Hit/Rohdiamont
