Okay, I know these aren't horses, but AWWWwwwwww!!!!!

Mama moose and her twin babies playing in a sprinkler.

With all the crud going on in my world lately, I needed this cute sweetness to make me smile and thought maybe some of you were in the same spot and could enjoy it too.

I have a grand daughter, age 15 months, who makes clomping sounds with her tongue every time she sees a horse. She watched this vid and the whole time made her horse sounds! Very cute.

"THAT THING IS HUGE..."
yes they are and I had a pleasure to be faced with one once, I thought I would pee my pants - I was picking berries as a child and she came over and sniffed me (I was crouching) I stayed very still and she left. I was told that I was very lucky, since they can be quite aggressive.

Question: I didn't know that moose can have 2 babies? I thought they are just like horses?

Awww, very cute, brought tears to my eyes and the song was perfect!!

I think moose are like deer in that twins aren't so uncommon and moose are a lot bigger than deer, even our deer, which get HUGE!!

How cool to have that in your backyard. I liked how the one stomped the ball in the beginning. They remind me of calves from regular cattle since moose babies are also calves and foals combined.

LOL, that cow moose is average sized. Yep, meese are HUGE animals. And cute as heck with those long droopy noses, IMO. A female moose with young is usually more dangerous than a single male moose. Cow moose will attack anything they think is endangering their young. They're very vigilant moms. People have been trampled to death from angry mom meese.
They're also nosy. And funny. Just don't go near them or muck with their babies. (they smell bad too, especially during their rut. Male and female meese think it's sexy to smell like urine mixed with pond scum...so they dig out holes in dirt and urinate in it all day and then roll in it)
