I took my horse to my first (and his first) event this weekend! Two thumbs up for Iron Bridge Hounds Pony Club! They put on a great event.
My horse was 10x braver than me and carted me around the stadium and xc phases. We won with our dressage score of 33! I'm so proud of my little hunter... he took good care of me!! And I had a blast! :D

No pics :(
No details really either... my horse was a saint! He couldn't have been better if he had tried... so proud of him! I'm thinking about doing another event in November... and maybe moving up to BN rather than BBN! We'll see.... good thing this is his off year for the hunters!

Congrats! It was a great day out there!
horsegirl520- Is your horse by any chance a chestnut with a blaze? And, did you have a navy or black saddle pad?(can't tell yet on my camera's small screen) If so, I might have gotten a few pics of you in stadium.

Congrats on your first HT!
I just wanted to say that you have AMAZING form and your horse has the CUTEST expression!
My guess is you've been riding Hunters/Equitation? It shows! George Morris would love that leg :)
Keep up the good work! Looks like you guys could do BN and shoot for Novice or Training someday. My philosophy is that most safe, sane, sound horses can go up to Training. As long as they are brought along well. (Most horses can jump up to 3 ft)
