I'm trying to find a home for a 9 year old QH Cross pony gelding that we have here at the farm. He is around 14 hands (I keep meaning to stick him and haven't yet) and a sorrel with a blaze. He has been ridden in the past, but I just don't have the time to get him back into work - he's nicely put together and is a good mover - I thought "eventer!" the first time I saw him, and with a patient and consistent human he might very well turn into one! He needs some work with allowing his hind feet to be handled - he seems to think that he'll lose his balance when he is asked to pick them up. He gets along with everyone in the field, and is low man on the totem pole in group situations. If we didn't already have 2 companion geldings we'd be keeping him but if he could make someone else's horse happy that would be even better! :)

He is UTD on shots, teeth, and was wormed last week.

Is he just for a companion pony or is he rideable?

He is sound for riding, but hasn't been ridden in a few years. For someone with time and experience to get him started again I'm sure he could be rideable. But I wouldn't hop on him fresh out of the field.

Bump for Dillion!
As it turns out he's a Breeding Stock Paint... not a QH cross.. for what its worth :)
