Super cute, super fancy arab mare, 19 yrs old, 14.2H flea bit gray. She's been a show horse most of her life, arab circuit, open and 4H (last year) huntseat and western pleasure. She easily switches back and forth from huntseat to super slow western jog trot, has some dressage training as well, and can do flying lead changes. She is not willing to be a beginner lesson horse, just gets pissed off with fussy hands and unbalanced riders. She is sweet and a lovely ride if you're quiet and considerate--does not require advanced rider, just not a flailing/flopping beginner. She enjoys trail riding as well. She can NOT be bred (hormonal deficiencies) and does need joint supplements if worked consistently, especially at the canter. She is a "princess" and appreciates a routine of being out during the day, in a stall at night and a regular schedule. Easy keeper, bottom of pecking order, will pace fenceline at mealtime and will pace in stall if delayed at turnout. Excellent groundmanners, loves to be fussed over, belonged to a teenager for years and did very well. Borrowed for 4H last year and brought home all blues. Will place free, or do free/care lease to appropriate home. Will take her back at any time. Located south of Portland, OR
