JoJo is being fostered by my sister and has been there for many more months than anyone hoped for. Poor girl deserves her own family!
Jo is a 2 year old, supposed Staffordshire mix in the HART program. She was found in a rural shelter with 9 puppies, all of whom found homes easily. She's a beautiful, loving, VERY active dog. Loves other dogs and has superb leash manners. Housebroken, knows basic commands, will chase tennis balls til the cows come home. Really, really adores people. Doesn't currently live with children, but has a real soft spot for them when at the dog park.
I'm not kidding when I say she's gorgeous - check out her pics (http://www.flickr.com/photos/11321645@N03/sets/72157605074746592/). Snuggly too!
Jo is FANTASTIC with her foster's dog (the black lab mix she snuggles with in the pictures). They romp and play and share tennis balls, tug of war, attention from their owners, etc. She is currently crated while her foster folks work, at night and whenever she can't be closely monitored at our parents' house (usually 5+ dogs there, it's a madhouse and not her fault). Very well mannered and patient in her crate.
She is fostered for the HART organization (www.hart90.org) and would be adopted through their program. Nearly any loving and dog-friendly home would be accepted. Either my sister or I are more than happy to help with any part of the process. Thanks!!
