Hi! My 6 yr old son (who is autistic) would really like a pair of full chaps. Of course the only used chaps I have found in my local shops are hot pink or have sparkels:D He doesn't care - Daddy says he thinks it would scare our pony:lol:
Anyway - if you have a pair of chaps in a color other than hot pink (lavender is fine:winkgrin:) that might fit my son, we would be more than happy to pay for shipping, plus take a photo of my son on his pony! My son is wearing boys size 6-7 jeans, so whatever that might equate to????
If your chaps need some repair, that is ok, I will be more than happy to take them to our local repair shop.
Thanking you in advancefor digging through your closets!!!
(darn - I have a wonderful pix of my son & his pony but I guess I can't post it here).

Let me see if I have anything. My 8 year old son is not in to the horses at all, but he did have a nice pair of chaps prior to joining ice hockey. :( I can promise they aren't a girl color. How tall is your son? Approximate weight?

JMS - Me personally, I don't care what color they are and neither does DS ;-) The idea of spending the $$$ money for pink chaps which were very VERY used was more than I could swallow!
He is average 6 yr old size... just a hair over 4' and weighs about 50lbs.
His big thing is wanting to wear them since all "western" riders in the movies - to include the Backyardigans - wear chaps! Since he rides western and won't wear britches (that is English, Mommy), it sure would help to save his jeans!
Thanks for checking!!!

I found them. They are in barely worn condition (except for the 1/2 dozen times I tortured my kid by making him ride). They are chocolate brown, Devonaire kids mediums. I'll try to find the specs online and if you think they wouldn't be too small, you can have them. You have to promise to email a picture of your cute kid on his pony!

The chaps are WONDERFUL & FIT perfectly!!!! He even has a little growing room. He was so excited when I showed them to him, we put them on, he modeled them and then said can I wear these when I ride?!? If we didn't have PTA tonight, I guess the pony would be out getting worked!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!
