Rivendell Horses

Hi all
I am posting about a clients' latest rescued mare. She has a small rescue and her latest addition is a red and white draft x mare. She has just had her teeth done so we know she is 5 years old, and has all of her shots (rescuer is a vet tech so she gets everything done for her animals)
She was rescued from going to auction b/c her owner "couldnt afford her anymore" but could afford to drive a volvo and wear pricey clothes..yea...
anyways
she is about 16.2 (in 5'6'' and cant see over her whithers at all) and has a nice shape to her. Not ovelry drafty at all, and has a regular size head, though does fit in a 6 inch bit.
We were told by previous owner that she was broke. yea not. She does w/t/c on the lunge line. She cross ties, bathes, picks up all feet, saddles and bridles. You can get on her and she will follow someone around. But that is about it.
She is for a free adoption or possible "sale" b/c of her owners 'contract'
We've been calling her Puzzle (though Mare also works lol) and she is a big sweetheart. LOVES people, was nickering at me when i was working with another horse, and when i walked up to her in the paddock. She has no bad habits that i have seen, and she is in excellent shape. VERY quiet. Has a really nice trot and canter, but does need to "lift" her canter. lol but work under saddle will help that.
middle horse out in the field. no kick/buck/rear as of yet. just didnt get what i wanted from her. lol "What are you doing up there?"
i am uploading pictures of her when i get home. Gorgeous mare that if i had room and time i would soooooooooo be loving to have her. but i have enough horses.
