I have a lady wanting to place a couple of TB's. The information below is what she sent me about them.
The mare has been ridden by intermediate teen riders. She has shown some as well in the pleasure div. several years ago. She was green going off the farm but did ok. Her feet need attention. She took her shoes off when she turned her out and they are now a mess. Chipped and needing shoes. She would need the shoes to be sound and ridden. Was sound before turnout. The biggest problem she recalls for lessons was that she did not bend well and just needed work. Bay mare 15.3 or 16 h. mid to late teens.
She did have some working students on both of them. The gelding requires a good rider. She had a good riding teen on him. He is turned out and will have an attitude coming back into work. Should be fine with someone who knows how to restart TB's. She also stated that he was schooling 3'6 as a youngster and has done some flatwork a couple of years abo. He has a plate in his pastern that he has had as a yearling. He raced sound on it and retired sound on it. He has JC papers. She thinks he foaled in 1997. bay geld about 15.3h. with a bigger build.
If anyone you might know is interested in looking at them, please contact me at equinerescueorg@aol.com.
Thank you
