" Glad to say, apart from a cut to his front leg, Poggie will live to fight another day."

Only Amy fell so I don't imagine he is unsound. I hope he is ashamed of himself for running away with Amy like that though.

Let's all remember that this IS Poggio. The horse that I doubt any of us could actually ride, let alone get around a 4-star course.

After the fall I commented to a friend that I bet Pogi was just as mad or even madder for the miss.

Glad he's okay. I'd love a chance to ride him and find out how he really goes! :)

Amy's sister's kids ride him around, and they're both under 8.

I think you will find that many four star horses are actually a pleasure to ride, unlike some training level horses.

yea ive heard that he is really fun to ride as long as there isn't any x-c fences in front of him, thats when he looks like he is not very fun...

Not surprising. I think the problem happens when you attempt to tell him that you know more than he does...

OMG, YES!  Have had the HONOR, the never-to-be-duplicated pleasure of riding my all-time favorite advanced horse...even at an advanced age, next to nothing work for over 4 years, he was push-button.

I can still smell him...and will never forget putting my nose in that pocket where his shoulder and neck met...I'll never forget that smell or that ride.

thank you, A.L.
