I am hoping someone on here needs a sweet mare for trail riding, a pasture companion, or as a broodmare! Trudy was injured in training as a two-year old and, as a result, is not sound enough to stand up to the rigors of showing. (Nothing hereditary-was flipped over by an ignorant rider). I am a college student and, due to work and another horse, do not have enough time to give Trudy the attention she deserves.

I have known this filly since the day she was born (helped foal her out) and cannot say enough good things about her. She has an amazing disposition-one of those born-broke types. My younger novice sister rides her out in the pasture, my boyfriend can ride her, and she even gives pony rides to my non-horsey mother!

I would be keeping this mare to breed if I had the facilities to raise a foal. She is very well-bred (a Zips Chocolate Chip granddaughter), has an amazing, flat-kneed lope, and is just a great mare.

I am located in College Station, Texas. Feel free to PM/e-mail me with any questions.

She is adorable!

I am curious to how much "trail riding" she can do. Would she be ok for an every now and then trail ride in the hill country (re: rocks everywhere)? What kind of injury was it?

I am looking for a sweet horse for my mom, as she is now riding my 22 y.o. retired upper level event horse. She doesn't have tons of time to ride as she is a special ed teacher, so the horse would have to be the get on and go type not lunge in a round pen before the ride type. She would also have to be fine being ridden once in a while (when mom has time). Our guys live out on 60 acres with lots of fresh water and round bales when the grass is weak. She would be turned out with 4 others(1 QH mare, 1 22 yo G mentioned above, 1 pony G, 1 mini G). Does she co-exist well?

You can PM me or email me tx3dayeventer@yahoo.com

My mom is located in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area (Canyon Lake, TX to be exact).
