I am hoping someone on here needs a sweet mare for trail riding, a pasture companion, or as a broodmare! Trudy was injured in training as a two-year old and, as a result, is not sound enough to stand up to the rigors of showing. (Nothing hereditary-was flipped over by an ignorant rider). I am a college student and, due to work and another horse, do not have enough time to give Trudy the attention she deserves.
I have known this filly since the day she was born (helped foal her out) and cannot say enough good things about her. She has an amazing disposition-one of those born-broke types. My younger novice sister rides her out in the pasture, my boyfriend can ride her, and she even gives pony rides to my non-horsey mother!
I would be keeping this mare to breed if I had the facilities to raise a foal. She is very well-bred (a Zips Chocolate Chip granddaughter), has an amazing, flat-kneed lope, and is just a great mare.
I am located in College Station, Texas. Feel free to PM/e-mail me with any questions.
