A friend of ours runs a summer camp program and she's seeking winter homes for her horses. I believe she has about 20 left to place. They are available from September 2008 - June 2009.
They range from ponies, to QHs, to TBs. All are used in a very busy lesson program, are used to children, dogs, machinery, cars, etc. She has a lot of nice, quality horses that usually do local shows, spend the winters at local lesson barns, some go to IHSA teams. A few even hit some of the bigger winter circuits. So not your run of the mill camp type trail ponies. I've taken a few myself over the years and have always enjoyed them.
Horses can be picked up mid-August 2008 and should be returned to camp by June 1, 2009. Leasee is responsible for all care-- vet, farrier, worming, etc.-- during that time.
