I have just under half a bottle of pergolide suspension(1mg/5ml). Our pony passed away yesterday :( and I absolutely cannot just throw it away. I would love to find a rescue in need of it, expiration is 8/15. I'll glady ship for free to another old pony in need.

Hi Nicker,

I did the same thing with the leftover pergolide when I lost my guy a few years ago. Contact the Cushings Yahoo group. You'll have many takers!

Sorry to hear about your pony.

I have a friend that just started her little mare on it here in TN who I know would love to have it. She is struggling with the expense of it but I am really pushing her to keep her girl on it as she is really bad cushionoide. If you pm me your email address I know she would love to contact you! Or if you like I can pm you her email address? This is her first horse she has had since she was a little girl, like my horse TC suffering from heaves, it is sooo hard to watch our babies grow old right in front of our eyes!

So sorry for your loss. And it is a very kind thing for you to do to help someone else in your pony's memory.

my 7 yar old pony was recently put on pergolide! man it is expensive stuff... it would be really nice of you to give it to a rescue, etc. if no one else takes it... you can always keep me in mind! helping others is a great way to honor your pony's life!

I just discovered that the least expensive pergolide in the US is compounded by www.thrivingpets.com They charge .50 per MG- which amounts to $15.00 per month for most horses/ponies. They are wonderful to deal with.

And NO, I am ot affiliated in any way!
