Hi Everyone -
First, I have to let everyone know that I appreciate all the emails and letters regarding the 2 previous TBs I had posted for adoption. Both have found a homes here in Georgia and are doing fantastic as trail horses. They're loving life and are in 'forever' homes.
We've got a Thoroughbred filly, 3 yrs. old (2005), bay, approx. 15 hands that needs to be placed. She has gone through race training only before developing a chip in her knee. Since then, she has been turned out and has been doing nothing. I got on her just to 'feel' what she was like and she is not sound on her knee at the trot.
The owners of the filly don't want to spend the $$ to fix the knee (isn't that nice!) and have opted to giving her away.
She is an absolute sweetie and would be a perfect companion horse. She loves attention and and is people oriented. She deserves so much more love than what she is getting.
I will have more information on her breeding and some photos posted hopefully by tomorrow. In the meantime, I wanted to get the word out on her.
Thanks for your time -
Zeb
