I am posting this for a friend who has a horse she can no longer afford to keep. Here is some general background information on her:
Name: Zans Lil Ms Diablo
Foaled: May 11, 1994 in Nebraska
Color: Sorrel
Markings: Star and Strip, Left hind half pastern white
Height - approximately 14.2
Sire: Rocky Zan (out of Zan Parr Bar and Eight Rocks)
Dam: Lil Ms Enterprise (out of BE AECH Enterprise and Our Miss Peach)
*I can go back further in her lines if needed
Soon she will be completely UTD with vaccinations, wormer, etc. and trimmed.
She is registered by the AQHA with a valid ID#.
She unfortunately has navicular - her owner nerved her about two years ago (if memory serves me correctly) but it did not help much. According to her owner she is still quite lame - however, she is not shod and proper shoeing would perhaps go a long way in making her feel more comfortable. Before the navicular was bad her owner rode her western mostly on trails. She is not bombproof but certainly not dangerous. She is sweet on the ground but can be a little shy with people she doesn't know.
She currently lives outside 24/7 with a large group of horses - she gets along well with both mares and geldings. She has also lived in a stall in the past. She is currently located in Bedminster NJ - I think her owner would let her travel if it was a great home but would most likely have to be at the new owners expense.
She is very cute looking - and if someone is really interested I can email a picture and put you in contact with her owner.
