Hi, I've been doing animal rescue in Jersey City and was wondering if by chance anyone was looking (or would be willing!) to take in another barn cat. I have five spayed/neutered cats I'm looking to find homes for; they've been living with me in the city, but would really prefer being to hunt and have the run of more territory.
Gabby (tortoise shell, young female), Sylvester (black and white tuxedo, male), and Bambi (black male) are friendly, excellent mousers, and Priscilla (mottled orange, young female) and Foxy (calico, young female) are semi-feral hunters. They are all used to dogs and other cats, fixed, and have had all their shots to date.
I'm willing to just place these guys in nice barns if the owners will feed them and provide good winter shelter, and I'd be willing to figure out some sort of transport if you live further outside of Jersey.
