Please let me know if you know the where-a-bouts of Erin Anderson aka Future Breeder, formerly of SC or GA. She bought an Oldenburg mare I bred named Miss Amber Bach by Budweiser. I have not been able to find out what happened to the mare and would just like an update. She also bought a young horse from Crestline so I know there has to be someone on here that might remember her and know what became of them. Last I heard she was either out of the country in Spain or going to collage in GA.

TIA

I had an update from her on the filly she got from me about a year ago but haven't heard anything since...I'll see if any of my contact info is still good...

There is an older ad for Amber on warmbloods-for-sale..

http://www.warmbloods-for-sale.com/HorseDetail.asp?HorseID=13380&UserID=1450

The seller is not Erin Anderson, but Gina Brannon.

Of course I remember Erin. ;) Here is Gina's website. http://www.huntington.cc/index.html

It doesn't look like the mare is on the sold page & she's not on the for sale page.

I talked to Gina last year to get info. Erin had sent Amber to her to get her going and sell her. Unfortunately at that time she told Gina not to talk to the breeder (me). Gina and Erin parted ways, Im told, in not such a good fashion. Gina did pick up a TB mare from her in trade for some of her bill that I think she got from another CoTHer too (Genevieve?). Gina doesnt know their whereabouts now but did straighten out some of the back story that Erin did tell me.

I just wanted to know if the mare is OK and where she is at.

Actually, look at the third row down, first horse. it looks like Amber.

If Amber's daughter, Maybach, jumps half as nice as Amber, I will be thrilled! Amber uses her shoulder and front legs nicely!

Hopefully, if she's not being ridden and competed somewhere, I hope that she's having more babies at least.

I'm sorry, Sonia. I really thought Erin would do good by her.

Ultimately she may have. My understanding is that she is just a bit MIA at this point.

Yes, just because someone is no longer "available" via the COTH board, doesn't mean anything. Some people just get busy with life.

Ladies I appreciate that but FB hasnt been exactly truthful to us in the past either. Im just hoping for the best for the mare but I would like to track her down just to put my mind at ease.

I hope and pray that's the case.

Erin, if you're out there, let us know if you need anything.

That's what I thought too, but I looked at the properties of the photo & it had a different horse's name. Not that that means anything....

Guys, there is quite a bit more history than just not being on the BBs any longer, so please don't snark. I do hope that Carosello can find out where the mare is & that she's doing well.

I do too. It would give all of us a little peace of mind, especially Carosello.

where would she have been in georgia? I am near SCAD and GA southern, and went to UGA and lived for many years in atlanta.
give us in georgia a location and we can look by farrier/vet/school, etc.
good investigators on this board.
and love it that you care about the mare. hope she is in good hands.

We're not familiar with the backstory on the individuals involved here or the current situation, but if there are private matters at play and/or any ethical issues in question, please proceed with caution.

You're welcome to use the COTH network to try to track down the horses involved, etc., but depending upon the nature of the accompanying issues to which allusions are being made, they may not be appropriate fodder for the boards. ;)

Thanks!

Carosello, you might try posting some kind of ad seeking info on her whereabouts on ewarmbloods.net . I believe it is free of charge and maybe someone who frequents that board may know something?

This is the only forum/board that I knew she was at. I thought I would have the best chance finding her here (specially since she purchased horses from two other board members that I know of) Thanks though I might try it if this strikes out.

Is there a college in Rome GA? For some reason that city stands out in my memory and I cant remember why.

From the www.usef (http://www.usef) site (which of course has incorrect info like the DOB and her name)

Berry College is just outside of Rome.

If the mare is in the hunter world, her name has probably been changed, which will make finding her even more of a challenge. You might want to contact the list of trainers at http://www.ghja.org/trainers.html and see if any of them know the mare. If you think she may be at Berry College, contact Equestrian Coach Margaret Knight. Her email is mknight (at) berry.edu.

Carosello,

How about calling her parents? I'd be willing to bet they'd be pretty cooperative, knowing the history.

BTW, doing a search on Google's pretty tough—apparently there's a "Adult Movie" actress named "Amber Bach".

Yes Berry- I believe she was going there last year. Anyone attend that school and is there a student list?

I have her mothers address in SC but I got the impression she hasnt been living with her parents and they may not know. I will write her as a last ditch effort but I was hoping Iwouldnt have to go and bother them since I got the impression they are not interested in horses (and the info they give me may not be accurate). Erin also said at one time she was moving out of the country and said then she wanted to take Amber with her.

I actually saw Erin at Summer Classic IV in Conyers, GA....so she is not out of the country.

It looks like you need to have a college email address in order to search the college's directory, so if anyone knows someone from Berry College that could be uber-helpful here. Even if she's left the college, she may still use that account.

I have a shot-in-the-dark possible lead from the Berry College website. I've sent you a PM, carosello (didn't want to make it public since I'm not sure!).

Good luck ...

Hi Foxy do you know her? Did she have Amber with her?

According to Facebook, there's an Erin Anderson at UGA, class of '09, which would put her at 21 or so. Cute brunette. One that's a UGA class of 05 grad, no good picture. None show an affiliation with Berry, but may be on another network. No one in GA with horsey pix by that name.

Carosello,

Did you ever find Amber? I always loved that girl ... she was very special, I know.

Found this and it appear she stole one of my photos of Amber and another of Maybach. Not cool.

On the bright side, Amber looks well as does her other mare.

Hey, graystonefarm, thanks. I have a half-sister, and it's amazing how alike they look! I looked on your site, when I was trying to find her, and saw Maybach all "growed" up! She's a stunner!! ANd you're right ... she (Amber) looks cared for.

These people may be able to help if it's the same "Erin Anderson:"

http://www.noblechampion.com/

"Noble Sound, a 2004 filly, all grown up and being readied to be started under saddle. Owner is Erin Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia."

Sorry I havent been to the board in a while.

Last I heard from Erin was last summer. At that time she said Amber was showing around the "Aiken SC area In AA and A shows".

She said she has shown under a differnt name at times by another rider and she wanted to put the finishing touches on her before she sells her.

You can PM me and I can give you the email address I have...she does not always reply.

The one trainer Erin had sent her to registered her with the USEF but got her name only partially right ...its listed as Miss Amber. I was unable to fix that but at least I got my name added as breeder and her dam/sire listed so if they do use this ID then she will be "known". I have tried searchs but always come up with nothing for results :(

So long story short she is out there but where exactly I do not know. I only hope all is well with them both.
