Peron. Saw him in Atlanta; magnificent, in spite of "moments" the final day. Bred to him the year after. Stillborn foal. My first attempt at entering the breeding industry. :(

I agree. Peron was incredible, and I am not really a Trakehner person.

I would also like to ride Luna, mother of Salinero.

Secretariat. Man, what an eventer he could have been, given the chance!

Oh, and also Figure (the original "Justin Morgan" horse)...would be fun to see how the Morgans of today REALLY compare to the Big Dog Daddy of them all LOL!

Donnerhall without a question.
Weltmeyer would be a close second and take a big dose of stoicism for the sitting trot! :) But I would suck it up and do my best!!!!

I have nice dressage horses to ride, so I don't think I have as high a desire to try a legend, perhaps Ahlerich. However, these can be some interesting experience (ranked in order):
1) Karen Stives' Ben Arthur (1984 Olympic 3-day eventing silver medalist) going cross country
2) Not a legend, yet, but Cornet Obolensky for jumping
3) Secretariat for racing

It seems that they all excelled comfortably in their respective fields.
