Here's my first ever (very short) trail video! This was with my digital camera, I'd love to get a video camera when I have the $$$$. Anyhow, you get a tiny peek at why they are called "The Rockies"

how did you feel being on that narrow little edge w/ no place to go?
i love the sound of the river below (that's what i'm hearing, right?)

Yes, that's the river roaring through a narrow section. The first few times I rode this cliffy part I was scared, but I've done it enough that it doesn't bother me anymore. There are far, far more dangerous trails in the area, two of them I won't go on anymore. This one is one of the 'easy' trails!

great video, thanks for sharing. I would be a nervous wreck on something like that! One spook, one slip, one trip....
Do you find that the horses seem to instinctively know not to jump that way and watch their footing a bit better?

LOVE IT.
Looks like my Montana videos. You try to 'tell' peeps how it looks, but video tells the story so much better :)

Awesome!! I was just thinking about doing something similar the other day. I started seriously thinking about helmet cams. There's a jockey on youtube that has one and has videos of him exercising race horses. It's pretty neat.

Holy cow, I think I'll stick to riding here in good, safe, Illinois! No cliffs, no narrow windy trails, no huge rocks... we don't even have very many hills.

Yes, they do pay attention. My horse stumbles on flat ground, but she never takes a wrong step in rough terrain. My friends all call her 'the rock horse' because she is super on rock.
